Our customers were bowled over by our selection of supplies for their Sunday festivities a few weeks back – Da Le Ranch for grilling meat, Segura Ranch for your guacamole ingredients, Soup Thyme for chili and (PS only) and RS Farms for salad greens, just to name a few. No matter which sport you follow (spring training or basketball anyone?) we’re your game day supplier.
The Best of Everything
And speaking of the games people play and being good sports, it seems like all the action on TV these days is focused on political wrestling. We are happily, no, blissfully apolitical here at the CFM’s. Often the most heated discussions people have is which farm offers the best dates. Fortunately, choices abound. On Wednesdays our good friend Art Futterman hauls his antique scale to Palm Desert and brings some of the most unique varieties in the CV – his seedling dates are so unique the varieties have yet to be named. (He’s accepting suggestions.) This Saturday Bautista Dates will bring their USDA Organic varieties and on Sunday DaVall Farms can be counted on to bring the soft and sweet “Honey” date, which their family originated right here in the desert.
No matter which team you follow, or political bent you espouse I think we can all agree that these Market faces are ones we look forward to seeing week after week.
